Student Ambassadors are there to represent students and be an Ambassador for the College. We need you! Have a look at this page and read all about the fun things you could be doing then let us know.

The Role of an Ambassador 

 

The role of an Ambassador is exciting, rewarding and varied! Ambassadors attend fun training days throughout the year and get the chance to learn handy and valuable skills. To complete your Ambassador programme, you need to give 30 hours throughout the year to your role which will include; assisting with BPCSU events, helping at Open Evenings, sitting on staff interview panels and much more!

 

 

 

 

 

 

What Type of Ambassador can I be?

 

Types of Ambassadors and their definition is below

 

College Ambassadors

The College Ambassador role is the most common role that students volunteer to do. This is the entry level role when you apply to BPCSU to be an Ambassador. 

 

Mental Health Ambassador

If you want to do a little more and become a Mental Health Ambassador, you will be able to work with the Mental Health team doing a variety of tasks and helping out with the Peer Support Group.

 

Higher Education Ambassador

HE Ambassadors are College Ambassadors who study on a Higher Education course. In this role you will be asked to also help with tasks from the HE staff members, as well as attend events.

 

 

 

Why Become an Ambassador

 

Ambassadors are important to staff and students as they help us to make sure we are listening to the Student Voice, making improvements that are important to you!

The Ambassador Programme will help you grow in confidence, it provides you with responsibility and is great for your CV! You will become part of a community, where you will make friends and represent students like yourself, to make the College a great place to learn! You will make friends and you will be an Ambassador with your current friends, there is something within the program for everyone.

 

 

 

How to become an Ambassador

 

If you would like to become an Ambassador, all you need to do is pick up a form, fill it in and drop it into The Hub @ Lansdowne or The Hub @ North Road! We are here if you have any questions, so come and chat to the BPCSU team!
