Meet the Team

As the start of the new term begins, we thought we would introduce you to the Students' Union Team! At BPCSU, we have a whole team working to provide you with the best student experience possible. Check out our roles below to get to know us, in readiness for the new academic year!

 

Zach Rumble- Student President

Zach Rumble is the figure head for the union this year and has produced a manifesto to make the college as best as it can be for students. After undertaking the Vice President of Equality and Welfare role last year, Zach was elected for the position of the President for 2020-21. As part of his role, Zach has created several goals to enhance your experience at the college:

• To ensure that every student is heard and respected for their views
• To continue to make The College more sustainable and environmentally-friendly
• To enable the student body to recognise their Executive Committee in the hallways, classrooms, canteens etc., and feel that their voices will be heard by them
• To create a community experience within The College, engaging students on every level and finding new ways to communicate
• To maintain all the relationships and legacy we built last year, with staff, SLT, Board Members and students, so we can support each other and make student life at BPC the best it can be

 

Lloyd Perry- Head of Student Support

Lloyd Perry is the Head of Student Support at The College. He is responsible for managing the Student Engagement Team, Welfare Team, Accommodation Team and Finance Team within The College. Lloyd’s role is to make sure that all students have excellent support, to ensure they succeed and achieve on their course. Brain Stewart- Student Engagement Coordinator

Brian Stewart is the Student Engagement Coordinator for BPCSU and is responsible for the staff within the Students’ Union. He works closely with the Student Executive team and other Student Voice platforms, to make sure that the Students' Union is the best it can be. Brian is also responsible for planning events and other activities for the Students' Union. He works over all three sites, however you can find him at The Link at either Lansdowne or North Road. Harriet Uren- Student Engagement Officer

Harriet Uren is the new Student Engagement Officer for BPCSU, and her role is to provide students with a voice at the college and to create opportunities for you to get involved. Harriet will be involved in organising BPCSU events throughout the year and collecting your feedback, to help make improvements to your student experience. Adam - Student Engagement Apprentice

Adam is one of the Student Experience Apprentices and is currently working with the Student Engagement Team, to provide a positive experience for our students. Adam is responsible for managing the Student First website and creating videos and content for the Students’ Union. Most recently, Adam has been working on digital content for the Welcome Fest site, to ensure students have the best welcome to the college as possible. Elise - Student Engagement Apprentice

Elise is one of the Student Experience Apprentices and currently works with the Student Engagement and Student Support team, to provide support to our students. Elise’s role includes running the social media pages for the Student Experience department and providing students with important updates and information online.
