Beach Clean at Bournemouth Pier – Join one of our favourite and most popular activities; a beach clean day with the Seafront Rangers. A project that actively supports our local community and environment!

Julia’s House Workshops – Find out about our amazing Charity of the Year! An interesting and interactive workshop where you can learn all about the charity, watch videos, find out about volunteering and fundraising, join in some fun activities and meet GoSkydive for a talk on Jump for Julia!

Art Competition Launch –  We are back again with a new Art Competition in aid of Julia’s House. This one is based around Winter through your eyes. Students can get creative and send us photos, drawings, paintings and more. The top 12 winners will have their designs printed into festive cards to help fundraise for Julia’s House. The top prize will also win a £40 Amazon voucher (Full T&Cs on our website) Join us at North Road to meet the charity and use our resources to start your masterpiece. North Road Community Link 2.30pm – 3.30pm


Green Impact – Have your say on our OpportuniTree!

For anyone passionate about being Green and having their voice; this is a great opportuniTree. We will have a tree in both the Cage and Lounge coffee shops for you to have your say on Green Impact. This year BPCSU is looking to start this project alongside NUS and we want to know your thoughts on where we should focus and what is important to you! Drop in 9.00am – 3.00pm to add your ideas


Meet GoSkydive – Last year BPCSU raised nearly £2000 for our Charity of the Year, Shelter. A huge amount fundraised was through our charity skydive in Salisbury. This year supporting Julia’s House we are skydiving again and Jumping for Julia! Meet GoSkydive and find out about getting involved. They will have a stall outside the Community Link at Lansdowne 10.00am – 12.00pm and 1.00pm – 3.00pm at North Road. Go Skydive will also be announcing the winner of a FREE Skydive from their Fresher’s Fair competition!


Want to do your own thing? Let us know as we may be able to support your transport and help with promotion or resources!

Volunteering is a great way for curriculum areas to meet the requirements of the PDBW element for OFSTED which strongly encourages volunteering an social action to be taking place within them.
